Dr. Stephanie King, DC has been in practice for over 20 years. Working with patients from the inside out to balance their bodies nutritionally, hormonally, and aligning their bodies with chiropractic therapy, posture exercises, stress reduction, nutrition, therapeutic massage, physiotherapy and light therapy.
Dr. King, DC has not only been actively treating patients for pain, muscle injuries, joint pain, and nutrition, but she also has been training, teaching and instructing other providers nationally. King, DC incorporates various physiotherapy and nutrition, as indicated, with her chiropractic sessions not only accelerating the bodies healing process, but rapidly decreasing pain as well.
Initial Examination – Includes evaluation, examination, and consultation with our Chiropractor along with your initial treatment. You will have your questions answered, leaving not only with a complete plan of action and recommendations, but the beginning of a plan of health and wellness.
Follow-up Sessions – All follow up sessions include evaluation with the doctor and treatment. Treatment includes necessary physiotherapy, massage therapy and adjustment, as well as recommendations for exercise, stretching, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle.

What is a Chiropractic Balanced Approach?
Chiropractic Health Care is based on a powerful premise: With a healthy balanced lifestyle and normally functioning central nervous system and joints, your body is better able to heal itself. That’s because the central nervous system and spinal cord, which is protected by the skull and spine, is the main pathway of the nervous system. It controls movement, feeling and function throughout your body. Chiropractic health-care focuses on treating joint dysfunction through natural methods using adjustments, physiotherapy and nutrition to help unblock areas that cannot function normally so the body can then heal itself. This dysfunction can put pressure on the spinal cord or on the nerves that exit through the spinal cord affecting nerves, muscles, hormones and neurotransmitters. The result is pain and other symptoms, such as numbness or tingling, digestive issues, sleep disturbance, often at the site of the misalignment and frequently related sites elsewhere in the body. Why is Therapeutic Massage, posture and body organization exercises so Important?
To understand the importance of these individualized modalities, it helps us to understand stress. Stress is an automatic reaction to anything we perceive as a threat. In a stressful situation, our response is fight of flight. It doesn’t matter if it’s danger or the stress of everyday living. Our body responds with tensing of the muscles, shallow and more rapid breathing, increased adrenaline, heart rate and blood pressure. Hopefully, once removed from the stressful situation, things return to normal. However if you find yourself consistently under a great deal of stress, it becomes more difficult to let go and relax. Systems of the body like the Adrenals or other Endocrine functions can become affected leading to imbalance and tightened structures in the body.
Therapeutic massage, breath work, body organization exercises and stretching can help you regain and maintain proper alignment. When muscles are relaxed and restored to their optimal length, correct posture and alignment are more easily sustained. If you simply adjust the body but do not restore proper length and mechanics of the muscle then the muscles will pull the body back out of alignment. So doing a combination of both is key to helping the body heal.

We are pleased to introduce Samantha Williams, our licensed massage therapist and mediation specialist. She has an expanded scope of practice to serve our patients better. Samantha’s focus is on customized modalities that include deep relaxation exercises, breath work, posture and body organization exercises, stretching and massage techniques. She provides an individualized session that is customized focusing on your central issue and develops each visit with these techniques to ensure a more focused and productive result with your healthcare goals.

My name is Samantha and I graduated from the National Holistic Institue in Studio City California in 2012 with a license in Massage Therapy and as a Health Advisor. Having unresolved pain is a lack of nourishment. We want the body to feel nourished! While it is beneficial to receive help and feel nurtured by others, my goal is to teach you how best to nurture and support yourself. That is a gift you can take with you the rest of your life and that is beyond priceless. Remarkable techniques I utilize include deep relaxation exercises, massage, breath work, posture, body organization, activation exercises, and stretching. I also explore your daily life, activities, eating and sleeping habits, etc. Many areas can cause physical pain. We name the issue and figure out together what it requires. We work in a safe space, with distinct boundaries and respect, building deeper rapport with each other for the most significant results possible. All clients require is a desire to correct themselves, feel better, and to trust that the only intention and focus I have is to support you to fulfill that goal.”
